Jagger Jones, 23, is the grandson of legendary racer and 1963 Indy 500 winner Parnelli Jones. Currently competing in sports car racing, he graduated from High Point University (NC) in December 2023 with a degree in business and finance in just 3.5 years.
Jagger’s racing career began early. He first drove a go-kart at six and quickly rose to win the National Karting Championship. After a successful stint in NASCAR racing, he transitioned to open-wheel cars, earning victories at Barber Motorsports Park and Rookie of the Year honors in the USF2000 Series. In 2023, he had a strong rookie season in INDY NXT, highlighted by a 2nd-place finish in Detroit and multiple top-10s. After not securing funding for a 2nd year in INDY NXT, Jagger turned to sports car racing. He earned an LMP3 ride after winning a shootout against four established drivers. In 2024, he dominated the IMSA VP Sports Car Challenge, securing the Team Championship with eight wins and eight pole positions in ten starts.
For 2025, Jagger has joined Fast MD Racing as their pro-driver competing in numerous GT3 and LMP3 events. In 2026, Jagger is looking to move into the IMSA Weathertech Series racing in events such as the prestigious 24 Hours of Daytona and Petit Le Mans in pursuit of a factory sports car opportunity.
With a winning pedigree, proven versatility across racing disciplines, and a sharp business acumen, Jagger Jones is poised to become a standout figure in professional motorsports.
