Meet Jagger

Jagger Jones is the award-winning 19-year old grandson of legendary racer and 1963 Indy 500 winner, Parnelli Jones. In 2019, he was awarded the NASCAR Rising Star of the Year Award after a strong rookie season in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. He finished 2nd in the Championship, winning in Roseville, CA, and earned Rookie of the Year Honors.

Jagger’s racing career launched at a young age. Following a childhood of watching his dad and grandpa race, he first drove a go-kart at the age of six, and his passion for motorsports instantly sparked. Jagger went on to win the national karting championship, granting him races in Europe for over two years. After returning to the United States, he pursued his NASCAR career, winning.

NASCAR’s California 2017 Rookie of the Year Award at just 14-years- old. In 2018, Jagger traveled coast to coast, clinching the Kern County Raceway Late Model Championship and won a race for Dale Jr. in the 88 Late Model. That year, he totaled ten late model wins in just his sophomore season.

Jagger’s passions and success extend both on and off the track. He is currently a Dean’s List student at High Point University in the Business Fellowship Program. He enjoys physical training, mountain biking, hanging out with his fraternity, charity work, and sim racing.

After a few years of focusing on NASCAR, Jagger looks to switch his focus to the Road to Indy Series while continuing to use his ambition and passion to carry the Jones family legacy through Motorsports.
